Volunteer Generation Fund Grant In 2011, United Way of York County received the Volunteer Generation Fund (VGF) Grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service and the Maine Commission for Community Service to promote and increase volunteerism in York County!  With the grant, the UWYC Volunteer Center will:  Coordinate 2 days of service annually Host 2 trainings for volunteer managers annually Maintain volunteermaine.org for volunteer opportunities Recognize community volunteers Serve as the York County Volunteer Center
